The Dragonfly by Laticis The Dragonfly by Laticis
Wow, thanks heaps for a Daily Deviation :)

Thank you very much to Ay-u and Kpekep for the suggestion and to PolyMune for the feature.

The star of the show / concept is the outfit so I would really like to give special thanks to JoLab1985 for designing one awesome outfit for Genesis.

Happy New Year

This is one very cool product and it worked so well in Octane: www.daz3d.com/new-releases/bio…

love the look of this one
i have afavorite book and it has pixies in it one named jenks and this would be a intresting type of armour for pixies i can see them heating and shaping beatle shells in to armour to wear would be quite the picture

hummmss would be intresting to see a pixie over a hot forge heating a shell to shape on a anvil having the light play off the face with shadows playing from the shell

might be a intresting challange to  do for you

Hi Zilvara, thank you.

I dont normally spend too much time on an image but your outlay and story of this image is so good I am going to take on the challenge.
Its nothing something that will happen quickly but your comment will remain visible to me till it is done.

Hello Laticis.
It's incredible.

(And "bravo" for JoLab1985 - he sell a second character  : Bio Squad Blaster   www.daz3d.com/march-madness/bi… )

Do you use Octane 1.2 plug for daz  OR octane standAlone ?

Thanks heaps Wasbip :)

Bravo to JoLab alright...great products.

I use the Octane 1.2 plugin for DAZ Studio, I am very fond of it :D

Your octane's parameters are great.Reflection of the character and Modular Ruins are so beautifull.  Do you change the shader's parameters in daz or octane plug?

Can you share a screen captured ?

Another thing about your tutorial in DAzstudio.com: (sorry but i can't send i private message)
www.daz3d.com/portrait-lightin…
Page 6/24 new parameter appear in the last version of daz...in the render setting/3Delight   ->Gamma Correction  (to have a good result unchek Gamma Correction). That's all.

Thanks heaps for the feedback mate. All materials are modified in Octane if required.

I can do one better than a screen shot, the wheels are turning and I will be producing a YouTube Vid that will go through my workflow.
A few steps have already been taking in preparation...a month or two required for completion.

Thanks for the heads up about the Gamma Correction, I never use it myself.
